Newland's Church

Newlands Church is set in the most beautiful mountain scenery. The Newlands valley has a history of farming and mining, but recently tourism has increased in importance. The church building is surrounded on three sides by the still open churchyard. Little has changed since extensive renewal and refurbishment in mid 19C.

Attached to the church is the former valley school. This closed in 1967 but is now a hall that is used to host summer afternoon teas and other small social functions.

There are no regular Sunday services held at Newlands.
