St Mary's Thornthwaite

The church is a quiet Victorian gem set away from Thornthwaite village at the end of a country lane. It is well worth a visit. Look for the ‘mice’! Peaceful graveyard adjoining with views across Bassenthwaite Lake (the only lake in the Lake District!)

Services are held at St. Mary’s on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
